Four tiles, one shower mural
This customer’s shower artwork uses four tiles, each 9.5 × 14 inches. Together, the pieces form an image approximately 19 × 28 inches, before allowing for the installation’s grout spacing.
It shows how a smaller feature panel can give a shower its own identity. You do not need a whole room covered in artwork to make it memorable.
Our larger tiles are 12 × 12 inches or up to 12 × 18 inches, and we can cut smaller sizes. We will discuss the image and grout layout for your wall.
A 3 × 8-foot mural made from 6-inch tiles
This California project uses 6 × 6-inch wall tiles to build an approximately 3 × 8-foot mural. The finished picture can span many tiles; mural size and individual tile size are different things.
A waterfall view for your shower wall
This double-waterfall mural was printed on 6 × 6-inch wall tiles. The scene gives the wall the feeling of a window onto another place.
Our regular wall tile sizes are 4.25 × 4.25 inches and 6 × 6 inches. Larger floor or outdoor tiles can also be used on an inside wall, with the tile and installation chosen for that setting.
The image is glazed and kiln fired onto real tile. Your installer still needs to provide the correct shower waterproofing, backing, adhesive and grout.

We print in colour or black and white, then glaze and kiln fire the tile. This is a custom process, so the quote depends on the artwork, tile choice and project size. There is no minimum order.

Custom shower tile murals: questions before you order
What tile sizes can you print for shower walls?
Wall tiles are 4.25 × 4.25 inches and 6 × 6 inches. Larger floor or outdoor tiles are 12 × 12 inches or up to 12 × 18 inches, and can also be used on indoor walls. We can cut smaller sizes from these. A mural is assembled from multiple tiles to suit the space.
Can you use my photo or match a bathroom colour?
We can assess your photograph, artwork or pattern for printing on tile. Send the original, highest-quality file you have and your intended mural dimensions. Colour on a screen and colour on fired glaze can differ. We aim to get close when matching colours, but cannot guarantee an exact match.
Will the picture have grout lines?
Yes. A mural made from multiple tiles has joints between the pieces. Tile size and the planned layout determine where those joints cross the image. Discuss important details, such as faces or lettering, before the artwork is prepared.
Are printed wall tiles suitable for a shower?
We make glazed, kiln-fired printed tiles for shower walls. The tile surface is only one part of the installation: your installer must choose suitable backing, waterproofing, adhesive, grout and sealants for the complete shower assembly. Floor use needs a separate suitability check; a wall tile is not automatically a suitable shower floor tile.
Can you reproduce raised texture or contours?
We print the image on a smooth surface. We do not add raised ridges or reproduce physical contours. A printed pattern can change the appearance, but it does not recreate a textured tile’s shape.
How do I get a quote and care advice?
Email your artwork or idea, wall dimensions, preferred tile size and shipping location. Include your timing so we can discuss what is practical. Ask about the finish and cleaning guidance for your selected tile; care also depends on the grout and other materials your installer uses.

The polar bear mural shown here was installed on a washroom shower wall, approximately 3 × 5 feet, using 6 × 6-inch Daltile wall tiles. The black-and-white sea-creature artwork uses 4.25 × 4.25-inch tiles.
