The printed sample above shows how a design continues across the tile joints. Your own artwork could become a family crest for a home pool, a hotel logo, or a design for a swim club or business.
For custom pool mosaics, we print your design across the chosen tiles and kiln-fire the image into the glaze. The overall artwork can be much larger than each individual 2 × 2-inch tile.
Planning your printed pool tiles
Are these tiles suitable for underwater use?
Yes. Our glazed, kiln-fired 2 × 2-inch swimming pool tiles can be used in the water or outdoors. Tell us the intended location and conditions so the tile and installation can be reviewed for your project. Read about printing for outdoor and pool environments.
Can I order just a few tiles?
Yes. There is no minimum order. A small name or logo feature is possible, as is a larger mural. Send your design and the area available so we can discuss a suitable layout.
What artwork should I send?
Send the highest-quality original logo, photograph or design you have permission to use. Include the intended size of the complete image. Fine lettering, small details and grout lines need to be considered together. Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed; mention any critical brand colours at the start.
How will my installer know where each tile goes?
Mural projects can use a layout map, numbered tiles or both, as appropriate. Review the layout with your installer before fitting. Your pool professional should confirm the tile suitability, surface preparation, waterproofing, adhesive, grout and curing requirements for the location. Can the tiles be used near a spa or on a shower floor?
These tiles may also be considered for suitable spa and shower applications. Tell us about heat, water exposure and foot traffic. Your installer should confirm the surface finish and slip-resistance requirements for that particular area.
What will my pool tile project cost, and how long will it take?
Price and production timing depend on the artwork, overall size, tile quantity and delivery location. Email those details, tell us whether it is a new or existing pool, and include any preferred completion date. We will discuss the project before confirming a quote and timing.
