Bring your favourite view indoors
Turn a favourite place into the centrepiece of your room. This lake-scene mural uses 12 × 12-inch floor tiles for an indoor wall—each printed piece joins the next to create one larger picture.
Floor tile on an indoor wall? Yes.
Our printed floor tiles and outdoor porcelain tiles can also be used on indoor walls. You are not limited to smaller wall tiles when creating your mural.
Tell us where it will go. Your installer should confirm that the wall and fixing method suit the tile weight and location.
Your image. A mural made for you.
Choose your photograph, artwork or design. Our glazed, kiln-fired printing gives it rich colour and a durable finish.
We use 12 × 12-inch tiles or tiles up to 12 × 18 inches, with smaller sizes cut from them. Combining multiple tiles creates a much larger mural.

Custom Map Tile Murals: Put Your Favourite Place on the Wall
A map can tell a personal story: the bay where you sailed, the town where you grew up, or the shoreline you return to every summer.
Customers bring us maps of places that matter to them. We print the supplied artwork across tiles, turning familiar waterways, streets and landmarks into a decorative wall feature.
Will the small details work on tile?
Send the clearest map file you have and your intended mural size. We can discuss lettering, fine lines and where grout joints will fall before agreeing on the layout.
Include your map, approximate dimensions and planned location. Prefer a photograph? Explore a landscape photo tile mural.
Four 12 × 18-Inch Tiles. One Larger Mural.
Press play on the workshop video to see four printed tiles come together as one colourful abstract design.
Floor tile can become wall art, too. These tiles can be used for an indoor wall mural as well as a floor project. Your installer should confirm that the wall can support the tile weight and choose a suitable fixing method.
Planning Your Custom Tile Mural
How large can a tile mural be?
The size of one tile is not the size limit of your mural. We use 12 × 12-inch tiles or tiles up to 12 × 18 inches, and can cut smaller pieces from them. Multiple printed tiles come together to create the larger picture. Smaller wall tile options are 4.25 × 4.25 inches and 6 × 6 inches.
Send your wall dimensions so we can discuss a suitable tile layout. Ceramic tiles are generally used indoors; suitable porcelain tiles can be used outdoors or on indoor walls.
Can you make a tile mural from my own photograph?
Yes. Send your original photo or artwork and the approximate finished size you have in mind. Image detail, cropping and grout lines all affect how the finished mural looks. We can review your idea before you commit to a layout.
Do you install the tiles?
We print the tiles; you arrange installation. Your installer should confirm the surface preparation, tile weight, adhesive and any waterproofing needed for the location.

12 Outdoor Custom Tile Murals For Iowa.
This is one of the many outdoor printed tile murals we did for the State of Iowa. It was completed in the Fall 2017. These Outdoor Tiles were specifically for their Fire Fighters because this is the birthplace of Fire Fighters Association for the world.
The photo on the left is this main bell tower. They found the original bell from over a hundred years ago, and got it working again. Then taking the old bell which was a gift to the citizens of Council Bluffs on July 4 1876. Then replicating the "bell tower" that once stood on-top of the old fire hall. This tower (see image on left) would be the top half of the original bell tower - which was very tall, and equipping the original bell, they got it all working again!
We printed original documents and maps of the area. Directly in and for Council Bluffs Fire & Rescue in Iowa. Where you can see our printed outdoor tiles still there to this day!

A Bathroom Tile Mural Made From His Favourite Sunset
Dave in Long Island, New York, used his own sunset photograph to create this bathroom tile mural. We printed the image across 25 tiles, arranged in five rows of five. He had it installed with a solid wood frame around it.
The result feels like a window onto a place that matters to him. It shows how a custom photo tile mural can make an ordinary room feel personal.
What view would you love to come home to? A shoreline, a forest, a family holiday or your own artwork could become the starting point for your indoor feature wall.
