This custom porcelain tile mural was produced for Wavetronix in Utah as a large-scale corporate wall installation. Measuring 127.5" wide by 55.25" high and built using Daltile 4.25" porcelain tiles, the mural was kiln-fired for permanent durability. Unlike surface-applied prints, the image is fused directly into the glaze, creating a long-lasting architectural finish designed for real-world use.
Proven Real-World Installation
These photos were provided by the client approximately three years after installation. The mural remains clean, sharp, and fully intact with no signs of peeling, fading, or surface wear.
This project was installed in an active corporate environment, not a showroom setting. The durability and finish seen here reflect real-world performance, not staged results.
Wavetronix has since returned to move forward with another mural project — a strong indicator of long-term satisfaction and reliability.
Permanent Porcelain — Not Surface Printing
This process goes beyond standard surface printing methods. While the image is initially applied using a proprietary ceramic transfer system, the final result is achieved through kiln firing, where the image becomes permanently fused into the porcelain glaze.
Unlike dye sublimation and other surface-applied methods, which remain on the surface and wear over time, this process permanently embeds the image into the glaze itself. The result is a durable, architectural-grade finish that does not peel, fade under normal use, or scratch away from the surface.
This level of permanence is critical for corporate, commercial, and public installations.
