In 2023, PicturedTile.com produced a large private album-cover tiled wall for a homeowner’s renovated basement music lounge, soundproof recording area, and entertainment space.
Approximately 200 LP album covers from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s were scanned at high resolution and transformed into permanent kiln-fired porcelain tiles — creating a one-of-a-kind tiled wall built around the client’s personal music collection.

A Music Lover’s Dream Renovation
In 2023, a private homeowner transformed part of his large residential basement into a soundproof music lounge, recording area, hallway, bathroom, and entertainment space built around his personal love of music.
The client selected approximately 200 LP album covers from his own collection, including music from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. The album artwork was scanned at high resolution and produced as custom 12" × 12" printed porcelain tiles.
The result was not wallpaper, posters, framed prints, or temporary decoration. It was a permanent kiln-fired porcelain tile installation built directly into the renovation — turning a personal music collection into a lasting architectural feature.
